The limestone hill of Dalnia (319 m) together with the neighbouring Grabina (308 m) to the west is protected as the Dalnia-Grabina natural landscape complex. The hill offers a view of the northern part of Kielce and the nearby Karczówka. A geological and mining trail runs through Dalnia, where you can see traces of ore mining and outcrops of limestone rocks that formed in the tropical sea during the Devonian period, more than 360 million years ago.
