Due to its unique geodiversity, the Świętokrzyski Geopark area is also an area of exceptional biodiversity. The most important feature of the area included in the Geopark's borders is the presence of various types of communities in a relatively small area. The richness of flora and fauna is particularly noticeable in the part of the Geopark protected under the Chęciny-Kielce Landscape Park.
