Dworek Laszczyków is a building located on the southern slope of Castle Hill, on Jana Pawła II Street, behind a wooden, shingled fence. It is one of the most valuable monuments of Kielce, not only because of its over two hundred year history, but mainly due to the fact that it is the last wooden building of this type in the city. The manor house was built by Jakub Jaworski, the last bishop’s starost, in 1788. It was in private hands until the 1970s and then housed the headquarters of the ZOZ. In 1988 it was transferred to the Kielce Village Museum for administrative and exhibition purposes. Currently the administrative facilities are located at the back of the property, and the manor interiors have been designed for exhibition purposes. You can find more information about the facility on the official website of the Kielce Village Museum at: https://www.mwk.com.pl/o-muzeum/dworek-laszczykow
