The extensive deposits of limestone rocks formerly and presently used in numerous quarries in the area of the Sitkówka-Nowiny Commune are fossil sediments of the tropical sea from before 360 million years, from the period known as geologists to the Devonian. Discover the traces of the Devonian sea wandering along the routes and paths through the “stone-carved commune”.
